How does Vakilat prevent AI hallucinations?
Vakilat operates on a strict Glass Box architecture. Every draft or research memo generated by our assistant includes inline citations. When you hover over a citation, you see the exact paragraph from the Supreme Court or High Court judgment we pulled from. If our system cannot find verifying case law, it will refuse to invent an answer.
Is the New Criminal Code supported?
Yes. Vakilat natively supports the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS), and Bharatiya Sakshya Adhiniyam (BSA). You can search by old IPC/CrPC/IEA sections and the AI automatically maps your queries to the new codes plus relevant transitional precedents.
Which Indian courts do you track?
Our database currently indexes all reported Supreme Court of India judgments, and orders from 25+ High Courts. We're expanding coverage of major tribunals including NCLT, NCDRC and ITAT.
Is my client data safe?
Absolute confidentiality is the cornerstone of legal practice. Vakilat employs AES-256 encryption at rest and TLS 1.3 in transit. We do not use your proprietary uploaded case files or firm templates to train our foundation models. For details, see our Privacy Policy.
Can multiple lawyers in my firm share a workspace?
Yes. Team workspaces let you invite associates, share matters, and set per-file access. Every AI action is logged for audit.
Can I export drafts to DOCX or PDF?
Yes. All drafts can be exported to court-ready DOCX or PDF formats with your firm header. Citations remain clickable when exported to PDF.
How accurate is the eCourts / NJDG integration?
We pull directly from government portals and resync multiple times per day. Delays in government portals may cascade to us — we clearly indicate the last-sync timestamp on every matter.
Will Vakilat work in regional languages?
English is supported today. Hindi and major regional languages are on the roadmap — we'll announce rollout with our early-access cohorts.
